Overview

Your Google Ads account is years of paid search learning: which keywords convert, which headlines get clicked, where the budget actually goes. The Google Ads integration puts that learning to work in AI advertising. Connect with a read-only OAuth flow and AI-Advisors imports your live Search campaigns - budgets, bidding signals, 30-day performance, keywords, geo targeting, and responsive search ad copy - as the raw material for ChatGPT Ads.

The converter does the translation. Field mapping is deterministic where it can be: budgets carry over (floored at the ChatGPT Ads platform minimum), geo targeting maps to the countries ChatGPT Ads supports, and your CPC signal becomes a starting bid. Where judgment helps, AI takes over: context hints across five patterns, headline rewrites that fit ChatGPT Ads character limits, and negative candidates. Every campaign gets a convertibility score and a spend-qualification verdict, so you know which campaign is worth porting first - and you review everything before anything launches.

Live Search campaign import

Imports your real Search campaigns fully hydrated: budget amount, period, and delivery method, bidding strategy type, 30-day performance (impressions, clicks, cost, average CPC, conversions), location targeting resolved to countries, ad groups, keywords with per-keyword 30-day metrics, and responsive search ad headlines, descriptions, and final URLs. The import covers your top 50 campaigns by 30-day spend and the top 30 keywords per campaign by cost.

Set up

Setup is a standard OAuth connect in two steps - no developer token, no API paperwork, no CSV exports.

An org owner or admin opens Settings, finds the Google Ads row under Integrations, and clicks Connect. You are sent to Google's consent screen, which requests a single scope for the Google Ads API with offline access so the connection stays alive without re-logins. Google describes that scope in its standard management language, but AI-Advisors only ever reads - there is no write call anywhere in the integration.

Back in AI-Advisors, the account picker opens automatically, listing every Google Ads account you can access with its name, 10-digit customer ID, and currency. Manager (MCC) logins list their ad-serving child accounts. Pick the account you want and the row shows Connected.

From there, open AI Ads and choose + Create, then Import from Google Ads. Pick a campaign, review the converted draft with its context hints, headline rewrites, and convertibility score, and save it or take it into the ChatGPT Ads launch flow. The integration holds a strict read-only posture toward your Google Ads account: every call it makes is a read, and no code path exists that can create, edit, pause, or delete anything there.

Connecting requests a single OAuth scope for the Google Ads API, with offline access so a refresh token keeps the connection alive between sessions. Tokens are stored server-side where browser clients cannot read them, and only org owners and admins can connect or disconnect.
