Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

AI-Advisors.ai ("AI-Advisors", "we", "us", or "our") operates the ai-advisors.ai website and the app.ai-advisors.ai platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.

What information does AI-Advisors collect?

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

Organization and Brand Data

When you use the platform, you provide information about your organization, tracked brands, competitor names, domains, and prompts you want to monitor across AI platforms. This data is used to deliver the platform's core functionality.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, buttons clicked, and session duration. We use PostHog for product analytics to improve the user experience. PostHog session recording is turned off, and the parts of the app that show Google Ads account names, campaign names, keywords, or ad copy are excluded from click tracking.

AI Platform Query Data

The platform queries AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) on your behalf to track brand visibility. The prompts we send and responses we receive are stored in our database to generate your visibility scores and reports.

Connected Integrations

When you connect a third-party service to your AI-Advisors account, through OAuth or an API key you provide, we receive credentials that authorize us to access specific data in that account. The data we access varies by integration:

Google Search Console - search query, page, click, and impression data for sites you own.
Google Analytics 4 - aggregated traffic and event data for properties you have access to.
Google Tag Manager - container and tag information, and, when you ask us to, creating or removing our tracking tags in your container.
Google Ads - the Google Ads accounts your Google login can access, including client accounts under a manager account, and, for the account you select, your Search campaigns: campaign names, status, budgets, bidding strategy types, locations, ad group names, keywords and match types, responsive search ad headlines and descriptions, landing page URLs, and 30-day performance (impressions, clicks, cost, average cost per click, and conversions). We read this data only when you use the Google Ads to ChatGPT Ads converter, to turn your campaigns into ChatGPT Ads drafts, and we do not sync it in the background. Apart from your connection itself (your authorization and the account you selected), we do not keep a copy of it; a campaign you choose to create in ChatGPT Ads is saved in your workspace so you can manage it. Access is strictly read-only - we never modify, create, or delete anything in your Google Ads account.
HubSpot - for contacts whose first visit came from AI search, their record IDs, lifecycle stage, landing page and traffic source, plus the amounts and stages of their deals, so we can report revenue from AI search. We write AI-source properties (such as whether a contact was AI-sourced and from which platform) back onto those contacts, which you can pause in Settings. We never store contact names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
Google Sheets - we create and write to spreadsheets in your Google Drive when you click "Export to Google Sheets" on a data table, or when you enable the recurring weekly sync from the AI Automation → Delivery tab. We use the drive.file OAuth scope, the least-privilege Drive scope, which limits our access strictly to spreadsheets our app itself creates - we cannot read, edit, or delete any other files in your Drive.
Slack - channel membership and message-posting permissions for weekly briefing delivery.
ChatGPT Ads - the advertiser API key you provide, which we use to create and manage campaigns in your ChatGPT Ads account and to read their performance. If you turn on conversion sharing, we also send conversion events from your connected HubSpot account (such as a new lead or a closed deal) to your ChatGPT Ads account, identified only by the ChatGPT Ads click reference, never by name or email address.

Access tokens and API keys are stored in our database, which is encrypted at rest, and are never sent to your browser. Your data is kept in your organization's tenant in our Supabase database, isolated from other customers via row-level security.

You can disconnect an integration at any time from Settings → Integrations. Google Ads can also be disconnected from the Google Ads to ChatGPT Ads converter page and from the converter in our HubSpot app. Disconnecting stops our access and deletes the stored connection, including its tokens. When you disconnect Google Ads, we also revoke our access at Google, unless another Google integration in your workspace still uses the same authorization. You can remove AI-Advisors from your Google Account permissions at any time. Some reports synced before you disconnect, such as Search Console queries or Analytics channel history, can remain in your workspace until you delete your workspace or ask us to delete them.

AEO Audit Data

When you run an AEO audit, we crawl your website to check for technical, content, and authority signals. The audit results are stored in your account.

Website and App Analytics

On our marketing site (ai-advisors.ai) and in the app (app.ai-advisors.ai), we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use our sites. We do not send your name, email address, or account details to Google Analytics.

Free Tool Data

When you use our free tools (AI Visibility Checker, AI Bot Access Checker, llms.txt Generator, Quick Audit), we collect the business name, URL, industry, and email address you provide. This information is stored in our database and used to deliver your results and send occasional product updates.

How does AI-Advisors use my information?

We use your information to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the AI-Advisors platform
Process transactions and manage your subscription
Track your brand's AI visibility across platforms

Does AI-Advisors share my information?

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Stripe
Payment processing
Supabase
Database hosting and authentication
Vercel
Application hosting
PostHog
Product analytics in the app (session recording is turned off)
Sentry
Error monitoring. Error reports can include the error messages returned by connected services.

Google Analytics
Website and app analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager
AI Platform APIs
OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Perplexity, to run visibility queries on your behalf. When you use the Google Ads to ChatGPT Ads converter, OpenAI also receives the campaign details needed to write your draft: the campaign name, up to 25 top keywords, ad headlines and descriptions, a landing page URL, and the industry, if you enter one. OpenAI does not use the data we send it to train its models.
Your ChatGPT Ads account (OpenAI)
When you create a campaign through AI-Advisors, we send it to your own ChatGPT Ads account using your API key: its name, budget, locations, bid, context hints, ad text, and landing page. With conversion sharing turned on, conversion events from HubSpot are sent there too.
HubSpot
If you use our HubSpot app, the information it shows, including Google Ads accounts, campaigns, and converter drafts, reaches the app through HubSpot's platform. With the HubSpot integration connected, we write AI-source properties to your HubSpot contacts.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the AI-Advisors application, and never for advertising purposes.
We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your explicit consent for specific data, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or for our internal operations and only after the data has been aggregated and anonymized so that it cannot be used to identify any individual user.
We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and OpenAI, which writes converter drafts from your Google Ads campaign details, does not use the data we send it to train its models.

The Google services we integrate with through customer-authorized OAuth, all subject to this policy, are: Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and Google Sheets (via the drive.file scope).

How does AI-Advisors protect my data?

Google Ads connections are kept until you disconnect them or delete your workspace, and we do not keep copies of your Google Ads campaign data. If you email hello@ai-advisors.ai asking us to disconnect Google Ads or delete Google Ads-related data, we complete the request within 3 business days.

Free tool submissions (AI Visibility Checker, AI Bot Access Checker, llms.txt Generator, Quick Audit) are retained indefinitely for lead management purposes. You can request deletion of this data by emailing us.

Frequently Asked Questions

What data does AI-Advisors collect?

AI-Advisors collects account information (name, email), website data you provide (domains, brands), audit results, and analytics data from the tracking snippet. We also collect usage data like page views and feature interactions to improve the platform.

Does AI-Advisors sell my data?

No. AI-Advisors does not sell, rent, or share your personal data or business information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate the platform, such as Supabase for hosting and Stripe for payments.

How does AI-Advisors handle data from connected Google services like Google Ads, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics 4?

When you connect a Google service, we receive access to specific data in it: your Search campaigns in Google Ads (read only when you use the Google Ads to ChatGPT Ads converter, and never modified), search query and impression data from Google Search Console, traffic and event data from Google Analytics 4, and container information from Google Tag Manager, where we create or remove our tracking tags only when you ask. Tokens are stored in our encrypted database and never sent to your browser. You can disconnect at any time from Settings. Disconnecting Google Ads also revokes our access at Google, unless another of your Google integrations still uses the same authorization, and you can remove AI-Advisors from your Google Account permissions at any time. Our use of Google user data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How does the AI-Advisors tracking snippet work?

The tracking snippet monitors AI bot visits and AI referral traffic on your website. It only activates for AI-related traffic and does not track regular human visitors, set cookies, or collect personally identifiable information from your website users.

How can I delete my data?

You can delete your account and all associated data from the Account section in Settings. This permanently removes all tracked domains, brands, audit results, and analytics data. You can also contact us at hello@ai-advisors.ai to request data deletion.

Does AI-Advisors use cookies?

AI-Advisors uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set analytics cookies. The tracking snippet installed on your website does not set cookies on your visitors' browsers.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. Payment information is processed and stored by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
