Set up the HubSpot integration
Connecting takes about five minutes. You need a HubSpot account where you can install apps, and if you already have an AI-Advisors workspace, an owner or admin role in it. Installing is free and does not require a credit card or a paid AI-Advisors plan.
Connect HubSpotHow to connect
- 1Start the connection
Click Connect HubSpot on this page, or open Settings, then Integrations, then HubSpot inside AI-Advisors and click Configure.
You do not need an AI-Advisors account first. If you are signed out, you will be asked to sign up, and the install picks up exactly where it left off afterwards. If you have no workspace yet, one is created for you from your HubSpot portal.
- 2Approve the scopes on HubSpot's consent screen
HubSpot shows what the app is asking for and which account it will connect. Pick the portal you want and continue.
One HubSpot portal connects per AI-Advisors organization. If you manage several portals, connect them to separate organizations.
- 3Confirm the unverified-app warning
AI-Advisors is not in the HubSpot App Marketplace yet, so HubSpot shows a warning that the app has not been verified and asks you to type "I accept the risk" before continuing. This is HubSpot's standard screen for any app installed outside the marketplace, not an error and not specific to us.
If you would rather wait for the marketplace listing, email hello@ai-advisors.ai and we will tell you when it is approved.
- 4Where you land
If this created your AI-Advisors workspace, you are taken straight to the ChatGPT Ads app page inside HubSpot. If you already had a workspace and started from Settings, you land back there with the HubSpot row showing your portal.
You can reach the app page inside HubSpot at any time from the Marketplace icon in the top navigation, under your recently visited apps.
- 5Connect Google Ads
The converter reads the Search campaigns you already run, so it needs your Google Ads account before it can do anything. In AI-Advisors, open Settings, then Integrations, then Google Ads, connect it, and choose which account to use.
This is free and does not need a paid plan. You do not need a ChatGPT Ads account to convert campaigns; you need one only when you want to launch them.
What the app reads and writes
AI-Advisors requests five permissions, and uses every one of them. Nothing is requested that the integration does not need.
There is no deal write permission. AI-Advisors never edits your deals and never deletes anything in your CRM. Google Ads is read-only: the converter reads the campaigns you already run and never changes them. Your ChatGPT Ads campaigns change only when someone in your portal changes them, and an owner can switch that off entirely from AI-Advisors.
After you connect
The converter is available as soon as your Google Ads account is connected. Campaign management can be started as a 14-day free trial from inside HubSpot, with no card, and is $5 per month afterwards.
The CRM revenue side, which matches campaigns through to contacts, deals, and closed-won revenue, is part of a Growth or Enterprise plan. Its first sync runs within a day of connecting. See the integration page for what each tier includes.
Questions
No. Installing the app and using the Google Ads to ChatGPT Ads converter are free, with no credit card. Campaign management is $5 per month after a 14-day free trial you start from inside HubSpot. Matching campaigns through to contacts, deals, and closed-won revenue reads your CRM and is part of a Growth or Enterprise plan.
Because the app is not yet listed in the HubSpot App Marketplace. HubSpot shows that screen for every app installed through a direct connection link, and it asks you to type a confirmation phrase before continuing. It is not a security finding about AI-Advisors.
Contact names, email addresses, and phone numbers are never requested from HubSpot's API and never stored. The mirror keeps the HubSpot contact id, lifecycle stage, create date, and the first-touch fields used to classify the contact as AI-sourced, and only for contacts that classify.
Automatically once a day, scanning only records modified since the last run. An owner or admin can also trigger a manual sync from Settings, then Integrations, up to 6 times per hour per organization. If a sync stalls for more than 3 days, your Weekly Update email and Slack briefing lead with a sync-delayed warning.
Yes. In AI-Advisors, open Settings, then Integrations, then the HubSpot row's menu, and choose Pause CRM write-back. Reading continues, and no further properties are written. There is a separate switch that pauses campaign changes made from inside HubSpot while leaving all reporting available.
Disconnecting removes AI-Advisors from your HubSpot account, which also removes the ChatGPT Ads app page and the AI Search Intelligence contact card, and deletes the connection, its tokens, and the mirrored data from AI-Advisors. Nothing inside your HubSpot CRM is changed, and the AI-Advisors properties already written to your contacts stay yours. You can reconnect at any time. Disconnecting does not cancel a ChatGPT Ads Management subscription on its own: it keeps running, and stops renewing automatically if HubSpot is not reconnected within 30 days. You can cancel it yourself at any time from Billing.
Start again from the Connect HubSpot link rather than reusing an old authorization URL, since a link from a previous attempt cannot complete. If it still fails, email hello@ai-advisors.ai with the message you saw and we will look at it directly.
Email hello@ai-advisors.ai with what you expected and what happened. We read every message.
